SAHA supports the participation of artists, researchers and curators from Turkey to the residency programs at Delfina Foundation since 2013. Through its seasonal thematic program, Delfina Foundation organizes 4-12 week residency programs, hosting 6-8 participants from different disciplines.
We are delighted to announce that Huo Rf & Lara Ögel will be the artists-in-residence in the upcoming spring 2025 season at Delfina Foundation, supported by SAHA!
During his residency at Delfina Foundation between April-May for six weeks, Huo Rf will focus on deepening his exploration of aging as a multidimensional phenomenon. Drawing from London's rich cultural landscape, including its renowned museums and archives, he aims to investigate the societal, queer, and institutional perspectives on aging. Through this process, he plans to develop a deeper understanding of how aging is represented in art and culture while examining its broader personal and political implications.
During her 6-week residency at Delfina Foundation between May-June, Lara Ögel will explore the vulnerabilities of the body and the home, focusing on themes of boundaries, regeneration, and the fractured yet transformative nature of reality. Using video, sculpture, and archival materials, her research envisions collective healing and resilience in uncertain times.
