17th International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia

SAHA provides support for the artists Refik Anadol's and Pınar Yoldaş's projects commissioned for the 17th International Architecture Exhibition curated by architect and scholar Hashim Sarkis, on 22 May – 21 November 2021, titled “How will we live together?”. Refik Anadol Studio and Prof. Gökhan S. Hotamışlıgil main inquiry in Sense of Space is to focus on multiple meanings of awareness from a unique perspective at the intersection of architecture, neuroscience, biological sciences, visual arts, and machine learning. In Pınar Yoldaş's installation Hollow Ocean intends to provide a glimpse at potential future changes to maritime environments.

In 2014, on the initiation of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) and with the gracious support of 21 sponsors, including SAHA, Turkey obtained a long-term venue in la Biennale di Venezia. The allotment of 20 years at Sale d’Armi, Arsenale allowed the Pavilion of Turkey to take part for the first time in 2014 in the International Architecture Exhibition.
