7th Mardin Biennial

SAHA is supporting the 7th Mardin Biennial, titled GÖKzemin, curated by Çelenk Bafra and held between 15 May and 21 June 2026.

SAHA provides honorarium support for Alper Aydın, Vahap Avşar, Selçuk Artut, Senem Sekban & Alara Akgün under the collective BiAcayipHane, Hilal Can, Mehtap Baydu, Bawer Doğanay, Cansu Çakar, Mehmet Ali Boran, Gözde İlkin, Ahmet Doğu İpek, İrem Tok, Rozelin Akgün, Hüseyin Aksoy, Zahit Mungan, Ekin Kano, Erinç Seymen, Özgür Demirci, Erkan Özgen, Pelin Kırca, and Canan Dağdelen.

In addition, SAHA provides production support for new works by Alper Aydın, Mehmet Ali Boran, Erinç Seymen, Hilal Can, Zahit Mungan, and Rozelin Akgün.

About Mardin Biennial

The Mardin Biennial was first held in 2010 with the aim of transforming Mardin into one of the centers of contemporary art, while introducing new perspectives and contributions to the region through the language of art. Over its 16-year history, it has created a meeting ground for artists, art enthusiasts, and art professionals through contemporary art.

In addition to presenting artists’ reflections on life, the biennial also seeks to enhance the visibility of the region’s existing artistic heritage and production. It takes place both in Mardin’s historic venues—rich with unique architecture and cultural depth—and in spaces where everyday life continues.
