SAHA Turns 10!

We made it together!

Founded in 2011 by nine founding members and by the contributions of 31 members, SAHA believes in the importance of collective effort to create an independent “field” [saha] that helps integrate art from Turkey into the universal artistic ecosystem. SAHA is a not-for-profit organization that offers its support to visual arts through a participatory approach in governance and fundraising with its members, institutional supporters, project partners, and consultants. After supporting its first project in September 2011, SAHA has supported over 400 artists, curators, writers, and art initiatives in 39 countries in cooperation with 170 art institutions through collaborations and providing resources. SAHA is deeply grateful to all the members and supporters who contributed to its work over the last decade as well as the sponsors of the 10th year events.
